Some of the special events that take place throughout the school year:
Color Days are the last Friday of each month. Students are allowed to dress out of uniform.
Charity Color Days are used as fundraising to sponsor non-profit organizations such as Riley Children's Hospital, Pet Refuge, Food Pantries and the like. Students are allowed to dress out of uniform for a $1.00 contributions. The Student Council coordinates these dates as they arise.
Friendship Day is celebrated at the end of October. Students may dress in costume and take part in games and play in the afternoon.
All Saints Day is November 1. An all school Mass is held and fourth graders dress up as their chosen saints.
Santa's Secret Workshop is held before the Christmas holiday as a shopping opportunity for the children. Affordable gifts can be purchased for their family and friends.
Spirit Week is held in conjunction with Catholic Schools Week. Children may dress according to daily themes as established by the Student Council.
May Crowning is held the first week of May. Second and eighth graders honor Mary in a ceremony beginning in Church and continues with a procession to the outdoor gazebo where the crowning of the Blessed Mother takes place.
Grandparents Day is celebrated with grandparents attending Mass with students with a reception in their honor following Mass.
