• We have a fun opportunity coming up for students in Grades 5-8 on April 19th at 1:30 PM. The Play Like A Champion TodayTM Program has a special relationship with Mike McCoy, a former ND All-American and pro Football player. Mike offers Mike McCoy Ministries which is an assembly to Catholic school kids talking to them about making positive life choice as a disciple of Christ. You can read more about his program at www.mccoy77.com. Special thanks to Kristin Sheehan from Notre Dame for giving our students this opportunity.
Mike will give his motivational talk to our middle school students that day. I would certainly welcome other adults who wanted to come listen, as long as they don't mind standing or sitting in the back. I may even ask if he would be willing to make a quick visit to our lower grades in case anyone would want an autograph. This is not yet official, but we could make it ND/GB Packer apparel day here at school, in honor of the two teams that he played for in his career.
