Most school families with Kindergarten-aged children will receive a mailed invitation from us. Even if you do not (go figure, sometimes we miss one), anyone with a preschool or Kindergarten-aged student is welcome. Tell your family, friends, and coworkers. Word of mouth referrals are critical to our future growth model. You may even earn yourself a referral credit if you and the incoming family meet certain conditions.
• Tuesday March 16 will be a rare 12 PM dismissal this year. The superintendent has received a special waiver for us to dismiss early so that our diocesan teachers may celebrate Mass together at St. Matt's. They will also be recognized for years of service (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.) Please begin to make plans for picking up your child early or sending to aftercare on that day. (Remember that if your child does go to aftercare from 12 PM all the way through 5 PM, that will incur the equivalent of two days' charges.)
• Mark your calendars for the evening of April 15 & 16. We have set this Thursday and Friday as the dates for our middle school spring musical, once again at the Newton Center. We will expect all students in grades 5-8 to cooperate and perform in this event.
