2010 Vacation Bible School

We had a wonderful time with the kids during Vacation Bible School. We set off on a High Seas Expedition to Explore the Word of God.

Not only was this a great time for all but we had a tremendous show of support. We had 65 children participate this week, representing 10 elementary schools. We also had 35 Jr. Crew members representing eight Jr. High, High School and Colleges.

We are so proud of all who have helped in this adventure. Co-leaders were Lisa Braun and Angela Lianez, both first time directors of the program.

This year as part of our project Kid-to-Kid we made blankets to give to Hannah's House (maternity home) as well as take out on out St. Vincent de Paul runs when children are involved. We made a total of 31 blankets to share with children who could use some of God's comfort. We also collected non-parishables to help re-stock the SVdP food pantery at St. Catherine's.
